contrariwiseI. CAN'T. THINK.
I hate the days that we go off and do something nice and fun and different because it's great when we're there but it always somehow takes much longer than I expect and then I get home and it's like, oh hi, there's no time left now, or if there is time left you flop around hopelessly, unable to write a word. It takes me time to be able to write! Why do I do things like suggest threads when I'm already working on threads? On important threads, too! UGH!
okokokok. focus. what do you need to do?
-show annoyance at the assumption, instant defensiveness that it's NOT true and then instant well even if it was it's justified and anyway she could work FINE with laurie
-point out she's already getting holly and she can work with holly, so she can take the hit of one fewer person she already knows how to chase with
-finally sigh/grumble (grumblesigh?) and say she'll talk to holly before deciding then
