Turns out that NOPE, you didn't know that. Or stopped believing it. Or decided that it didn't matter.
I'm kind of not even mad at this point, just disappointed at the time and effort wasted. But I guess if we hadn't bothered to try again we might have "always had questions" etc etc, whereas now I really don't.
